The data have clearly shown us that, despite proving a successful technique for many other products across a range of contexts, collaborative filtering simply wasn’t a match for Chatroulette. This is notable because our ability to track a user’s behaviour on the site beyond the current session is integral to our ability to limit anti-social behaviour within the community.
